Croydon Roller Derby is set to take on the mighty Stuttgart Valley Rollergirls in a nail-biting double header this Saturday 28th February.

Come join us at The Dolphin Leisure Centre in Hayward’s Heath on Saturday for our first international game of the year. The day will first see the B teams take to the track as Vice Squad is pitted against The Bad Seeds followed by the A team battle of Riot Squad against Hit Girls.

Having just defeated Portsmouth Roller Wenches in their first Champs game of the season, Riot Squad are feeling positive about the upcoming challenge.

“We love playing European WFTDA teams, for us the opposition is really unknown which is a challenge and we really don’t know what to expect on track, which is all part of the fun,” says Riot Squad Captain Emma Dyduch #2. “We’ve been training really hard since the beginning of this season and there have been a few changes, so we hope this is going to be an entertaining and close game.”

For Vice Squad it represents the first open door game of the season and the chance to showcase some of the new additions to the team.

“I am really excited for the game, it’s always exciting to play teams from other countries,” says Co-Captain Rebecca Griffiths, also known as Toxis Frosting #10. “Also it will be the first game with Vice Squad for some of our newer skaters so we have been training really hard to improve our team work on track. I hope Stuttgart is ready for a challenge!”

Fighting talk! Make sure you don’t miss out on a day jam-packed (get it) with roller derby action. Oh, also they’ll be delicious homemade cake and some stunning new merch!
